New direct containerized service with the USA East Coast.

On the morning of March 2, the inaugural ceremony of the new USX – United States Express service of the shipping company Ellerman City Liners, consigned by Marítima Dávila, which will connect directly every week, took place at the CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal (CSPB). the port of Bilbao with the east coast of the USA.
The act was attended by Ricardo Barkala (President of the Port Authority), Andima Ormaetxe (Director of operations, commercial and logistics of the Port Authority), Captain Rogelio Daganta (Captain of the ship), Pelayo Dávila (General Director Grupo Davila ), Jorge Sánchez (Director Davila Bilbao), Elvira Gallego (General Manager of CSPB), Elías García (COO of CSP Spain) and Francisco Pérez (Head Captain of the fiscal and border company of the civil guard). The first call of this weekly service has been made by the ship Buxfavourite, which will be followed by the Mona Lisa, Windswept, Cape Hellas and SC Mara, as announced by the company, all of them with a capacity of more than 3,000 TEUS.

The complete rotation of the USX – United States Express service will be Bilbao, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Tilbury, New York, Jacksonville, Wilmington, which means a transit of 10 days on importation from the last port of call in the US ( Wilmington) as Bilbao is the first port of call in Europe, and 18 days for export to New York.
This new service reinforces the services that other shipping companies have from the port of Bilbao in container and conventional, which will mean a greater number of departures, thus facilitating their commercial work with the US for exporters and importers.
Marítima Davila, in addition to handling the consignment for Ellerman City Liners ships in Bilbao, is also the person who markets the service. For its part, CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal offers the capacity of the main container terminal in the Atlantic arc.
