W.E.C LINES SPAIN | Extends maritime services to Poland and Lithuania and adds an intermodal offer in Spain

December 2021 | PUERTO DE BILBAO NEWS95

Since the end of October, the company WEC Lines includes the ports of Klaipeda (departures on Fridays) and Gdynia (departures on Saturdays) as new destinations - origins in the route connecting Bilbao (departures on Wednesdays) with northern Europe. Thus, WEC Lines reinforces the express service that began in January 2021 with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway and the interior of Poland, thus offering very competitive transit times.

The WEC Lines shipping company has also announced the enlargement of its intermodal offer connecting Valencia and Burgos with Bilbao by train, linking to its maritime service. This new railway service is added to the existing service between Bilbao and Barcelona, with train schedules synchronised with the WEC Lines stopovers in the port of Bilbao.
