New ro-ro service with China and India

The port of Bilbao starts a ro-ro service with China and India with  Nordex Acciona's wind blades cargo.

The Super Fast Levante ship, consigned and stowed by Toro and Betolaza, has inaugurate the service. In this first call has unloaded twelve blades from India and will load another twelve of the new generation of 81.5 m,  manufacturates by Nordex Acciona and transported to the port of Bilbao by T. Grúas Aguado.

It will leave for Rostock today, where Nordex Acciona has a factory to assemble nacelles, and from there it will begin its journey to Asia. The round trip expends 2 and a half months. Ports of call are Tuticorin in India and Lianyungang in China.

The Super Fast Levante is a ship of 158 meters in length and has a capacity for 1,900 linear meters of cargo. 

For its first port of call in Bilbao, its captain received a commemorative metoping from the Port Authority's Director of Operations, Sales and Logistics, Andima Ormaetxe, in the presence of representatives from Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza and Nordex Acciona.
