The logistics sector in the Basque Country analyzes with the Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment the economic situation in the current circumstances.

The traditional annual Transmodal forum in Vitoria, with the focus in this edition on the supply chain crisis, has made it possible in parallel to hold a meeting to analyze the situation arising from the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the new wave of closures by Covid in China and the stoppage of road transport that affects the entire State and, at the same time, for a pooling of possible palliative measures.
 
The meeting, convened by the Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, Arantxa Tapia, was attended by the Port Authorities of Bilbao and Pasaia, the Logistics Platforms of Arasur and CTV, the MLC-ITS Euskadi and UNIPORT clusters, the Guitrans employer associations , Asetrabi and the SEA transport area, also with the presence of Mikel Amundarain, Deputy Minister of Industry.
