GRUPO PÉREZ Y CÍA | 2021, a highly positive year

The Pérez y Cía. Group have reported a historic closure for 2021, with a turnover of 377 million euros and 56 million in EBITDA.

In the last three years, the Pérez y Cía. Group has managed to diversify operations, breaking into new markets such as China, Brazil, Costa Rica, Portugal and Singapore, reinforcing their international vocation and currently operating in 15 countries, as well as being present in most Spanish ports, including Bilbao since 1890.

The Pérez y Cía Group offers line representation services, ship charter consignment, cruise liners, yachts and "project cargo" services, as well as customs clearance, provisioning, towing and "bunkering", among others.

As an exceptional activity, in 2021, the Pérez y Cía Group collaborated in providing aid to the island of La Palma by transporting water for irrigating the banana plantations that were isolated due to the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.

The company has also continued recruiting new professionals, promoting equality and the professionalisation of its workforce, reinforcing it with more than 100 professionals since 2019. The current workforce is 1,000 employees, more than 40% of which are women.
