DBA BILBAO PORT (GRUPO HAFESA) | New operational and commercial capacity

April 2022 | PUERTO DE BILBAO NEWS 96

Grupo Hafesa, a holding dedicated to commercialising and distributing petroleum products, has ended the works to improve its DBA Bilbao Port terminal, investing 2.3 million euros in the last eight months.

With this investment, the terminal has expanded from three to five refuelling points, with the possibility of adding 95 octane petrol to diesel A and B in its range of products. Moreover, the flexibility provided by the new combination of piping enables loading combined tanker trucks, enabling the terminal to supply smaller fuel stations.

The plant, which has been in operation since 2016 in the port of Bilbao and has capacity for 55,000 m³, had a movement of 453,194 m³ last year 2021, destined for supplying companies in Euskadi, Asturias, Cantabria and Burgos, and it is catalogued as a tax warehouse for hydrocarbons for customs purposes.
