CONSIGNACIONES TORO Y BETOLAZA | Requests the extension of its concession on dock A6

Santurtzi |

Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza has applied to extend the current concession on quay A6 by 61,709 m². This would increase the surface area of the general cargo terminal to around 242,600 m².

The objective is to consolidate its position as a key operator and one of the main players in the expansion of the port of Bilbao. The company bases its request on the increase in the customer portfolio, the volume of traffic and its typology, which require more space for handling, warehousing and storage.

Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza, which is seeking to base its strategy and activities not on authorisations but on long-term concessions, maintains that the traffics planned for the port of Bilbao, especially those linked to its status as a "wind hub", require an intensive use of space given its size, cubic capacity and typology.
